Does Stripe or PayPal handle PCI for me?
They protect the card data, but PCI DSS v4 still expects the pages that load your checkout to pass a quarterly external scan from an Approved Scanning Vendor. That scan is what the PCI Starter package provides.
Is an automated pentest enough for a customer security questionnaire?
For most first requests, yes. It covers the OWASP Top 10 against your live app and produces an executive summary and a technical remediation report you can share. Larger enterprise buyers sometimes ask for a manual test, and Clone Systems offers that too.
